What is Respite Care?
Short-term care for foster kids. Respite providers give foster parents time to rest and recharge by watching a foster child(ren) for a few hours up to a few days.
What is required?
A brief training, several forms to be filled out, a background check, and a home inspection.
Am I obligated to watch the children every time I am called?
No. When you choose to take a child is totally up to you. You may also request boys or girls and age ranges that would best fit your family.
