Join us for CMFCAA's 15th Annual Gala

Here at Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association, we’re starting to plan for our annual gala, which will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at Capitol Plaza Hotel. The theme is “Puttin’ on the Ritz.” It uses the backdrop of the roaring ‘20s to spotlight the ever-increasing need for foster and adoptive homes and families. With over 1,500 children in Missouri awaiting adoption right now, each passing year the hopes of these children finding their safe and healthy homes lessen. This being our flagship fundraiser, it’s crucial to helping us continue our mission of improving the lives of traumatized children and strengthening families. 

 Your generous contribution will help us to provide these essential services: 

• Direct support to foster families, including financial assistance for basic needs such as clothing, furniture, and school supplies. 
• Training and resources for prospective adoptive and foster families to ensure they have the necessary tools for a successful adoption journey. 
• Support groups and counseling services for foster/ adoptive/kinship families to address the unique challenges they face.
